This is the second in a four-class series repeating each Wednesday until November 28.
The Comprehensive repair class comprises four hands-on sessions, each 1.5-2 hours long. Classes meet once a week for four weeks, and tools will be provided, but students should bring their own bicycle, as we feel using the bike you’re most likely to work on in the real world will give you the most benefit.
We’ll also have shop gloves and aprons available, but we recommend you wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and wear close-toed shoes.
After completing the class, you should have a pretty good understanding of the basic workings of your bike, how to make minor (and maybe some major) repairs and adjustments, and know what tools you’ll need to maintain your own bike. On completion, you’ll also get a coupon for 15% off tools and accessories good for one month after you finish the class.
